Our commitment
Speaking Drill should work for everyone who wants to practice speaking. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, and we treat that as the minimum, not the goal.
What we do
- Every feature can be used with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Text and controls meet WCAG AA contrast in both light and dark mode.
- Status is never shown by color alone: icons and text always accompany it.
- Buttons and links are at least 44 by 44 pixels.
- Animations respect your device’s reduced-motion setting, and timers show their remaining time as text.
- Forms have visible labels, and errors explain what to fix.
- Pages work at 200% zoom and on screens as narrow as 320 pixels.
Known limitations
- The drills are speaking practice, so recording requires a microphone. You can still read every instruction and complete the warm-ups without one.
- Audio examples, when added, will come with text transcripts.
Feedback
If something gets in your way, we want to know. Tell us which page you were on and what happened, and we will work to fix it.
